Scripture: Habakkuk 3:18-19
18Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
19 The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.
Observation: Many of the verses before this one talk about destruction, yet Habukkuk’s faith remains strong.
Application: Even when I do not fully understand why God is allowing bad things to happen, it is critical to still trust in Him and lean on Him.
Prayer: Thank you, Lord for being in control, and for reminding us that you are sovereign. In times of trouble, please remind me of Habakkuk, and the many others like him who sought you even in times of peril and confusion.
