Scripture: Jeremiah 29:13
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Observation: Only when you completely seek the Lord will you find him
Application: Hmm. I wonder if this is why I was frustrated for so long. I thought I wanted to be in a relationship with God, but I didn’t really want to make the changes necessary. I still have changes to make, but now I am seeking them out and trying to make them.
Prayer: Thank you, Lord for allowing me to seek you, and for showing me to how to seek you more fully so that I could truly be in communion with you. Please keep my heart pure and my focus on you. The world sure has a lot of tug in it, but keep showing me how to set my focus on you.

This is my favorite scripture from Jer 29! I wish people would focus more on this one instead of verse 11. It’s great that He has plans and a future for us, but it is so much more important that we be connected to Him!
Thank you THANK YOU for your suggestions on my blog! See, this is exactly why I posted that I needed help! I LOVE your idea for January – she really wouldn’t know what to do with a pair of mittens. I didn’t even think about Mother’s/Father’s Day shots – that is awesome! I do have some plastic pumpkins I bought for fall decorations years ago at Michael’s, but since we moved into our teeny apartment they have been put in storage at my parents’ house. Maybe I can get my dad to get a few out for me without telling him what they are for. :) Thank again, your ideas are awesome!
