Anyways, to answer your question.  There really isn&#039;t a right answer. The way you wrote it is fine because there is only one chapter in 2John.  But it is also correct to write  2John 6, it would make sense when you opened your Bible to look for chapter 6 in 2John -then you would quickly realize there is only one chapter and should go to verse 6.
