Coming to you by way of Happy to Be at Home. This is a great tape. I use the expensive labels but that's my anal retentive disorder. Masking tape is a good tip. I also mark expiration dates on things that I don't go through quickly to make sure that everything is still good when I got to bake or cook something:-)

I too am a big fan of the masking tape! Works great on those Rubbermaid bins of hand-me-downs I am saving until my little guy fits into the clothes.

Duh! Hitting myself in the head. I have been thinking about getting a label maker, but you have definitely made it cheaper and so much easier. :D

I also use masking tape and a sharpie in the fridge for labeling left overs and the date or in the freezer for same thing. It works great. When left overs are gone, I rip off tape,, wash and re-use!
