I feel very strongly that you can hear God best when you are in His word.
And I have found it easier to be in His word when someone is telling me what to read each and every day.
At my home church, many of us are reading through the Bible in a year. I’ve been using that schedule for my SOAP devotionals and plan to continue that schedule even when I complete it.
To help keep us current, the church distributes the reading schedule on a bookmark each quarter.
When I received my October through December one I thought of all my dear readers and their friends and their friends and, well, anyone else who might be remotely interested in reading along with us.
So, I’d love to pass some of those bookmarks on to any of you who would like one… absolutely free.
This way, you, too, can jump in right where we are and keep our reading schedule if you’d like to.
If you would like to take me up on this offer, please leave a comment and also send me an email with your mailing address. You can click my groovy green ”Got Questions?” email button to send me a note. I’ll pop a bookmark in the mail to you. And come January, if you ask again, I’ll send you another one. But I won’t send anything else to you or keep this list for any reason. I promise.
Please feel free to write about this on your own blog and link back. And feel free to share this offer with anyone. I’d love to run out of the bookmarks and have to ask for more, knowing that together we are helping people read the word of God daily.
Reading the Bible certainly works for me. And I hope these bookmarks will work for you.

Through March 31, 2010, Mom's Toolbox's primary goal is to encourage you in attentively reading the entire Bible in 90 days by offering almost-daily encouragement and my SOAP observations from the reading.

I would love to do this with you. I was just looking at an old schedule I used a couple of years ago. I told myself I needed to do it again and here was your post!!
Doesn’t God use others to prod us along:~)
I would also like to do this ;)
I just found your blog yesterday and immediately added to my Google reader specifically for your SOAP updates. I would love to receive a bookmark so I can keep up. Thanks!
I would love to have one – I’ve had one in the past and it was very helpful and had been thinking that I needed to find one again.
Thanks for offering this!
Love that your sharing in this way!
I’d take one also!
I keep saying that I should read my Bible more. I was doing well for awhile, but I have slacked off. This might be what I need in my hectic life right now..some time to settle and refocus.
I would also love to have a bookmark! Thanks for making them available!!
Great idea! I just have a sheet in my prayer journal.
Happy WFMW!

I agree with you sister! I do hear Him best when I am in his word. I had someone ask me about why read what you have already and that you know what “it” says….needless to say, I was befuddled because he was a believer. Of course after the shock I said well “it” The Bible is alive. I love reading the Word of God so that I can hear Him.
Anyway, if you like talking about His word then perhaps you like talking about His name. I started a carnvial for Name Droppin’ on the Names of God. http://racheleposey.blogspot.com feel free to steal my button and join in.
I would like to receive the bookmark in the mail, too. My Bible reading is not like it used to be. I could use a boost. Thanks!!
What a wonderful idea. If you don’t mind, I would love to participate too.
Very interested in this! Thanks so much for sharing. I’ll send you an email now. ~ Laurie Ann ~
