Thanks for sharing this terrific app! I love having the Word on my iPhone, and hearing it when I'm working on writing or running errands is such a blessing.

Awesome! I don't have an iPhone (boo) but I have an ipod touch. As long as I'm in a place where I have access to wifi, I could read it like that. Thanks for the tip!
<strong>Rachel--I think once you download, you don’t need internet access... it's just in there.

My husband has listened to cds of both the Old Testament and the New Testament during his daily driving. He was able to listen to the entire Bible in about 9 months, and he doesn't even drive in to work every day! If your husband has a longer commute, he could do it even quicker. My husband said that it was such a blessing to be able to focus on God's Word instead of music. Shortly after he finished listening to the entire Bible, our cd player in our car broke. He has really come to miss the opportunity he had to listen to so much more in one day than he could normally read in one day. I hope to one day have it fixed for him--not to listen to music, but to enable him to listen to the scriptures again.
