I have a post about Sunday’s MS 150 ride half-written. I am just not in the mood to finish it.
I don’t like to admit defeat.
I trained. I prepared. I hydrated. And then I rode in the SAG wagon.
I (unknowingly) ate unwell the night before and then lost most of it after 26 miles at the first rest stop in the park. And then more of it throughout the day.
It wasn’t pretty.
I have pictures to post and more of the tale to share. And I will… Probably tomorrow.
Forgive me for not jumping at the chance to tell the sad story.
But I will ride again! (First I must be able to eat a full meal again.)
One plus to my preparation: I’m glad I hydrated in the days prior– otherwise I could have really been in trouble.

Amy, you are such a champion! Stop beating yourself up, silly girl! You can’t help that you got sick and you made such a valiant effort – I’m so proud of you. I do want to know whose pizza you ate though, so I don’t go there :).
I was just thinking about you and praying for you this morning. Now I know why you were on my heart so much.
I’m so sorry. Disappointment in ourselves is a hard thing to process. I am so proud of you for your efforts, though, and your committment to ride again.
