I have been using Twitter for a few months but I am just now starting to love it. One wonderful thing I have discovered is that it can be a quick resource. My son has a peanut allergy. I began following several people on Twitter that also have allergy websites. Now I am getting information quicker. I have recieved some great Tweets with information on sites I had never visited. Thanks for this post. I still feel like a Twitter newbie but I am learning that I can really benefit from it.

Honestly, I just don't get it. I'm on FaceBook, which is ok. I tweet on Twitter, but I really don't understand why people tweet and in just 140 characters. I'll read your instruction again and then maybe I'll get into it.

Thanks for posting the links to tweetdeck, etc. I agree about the self-promoting, sometimes it seems like I have to go through pages of giveaway links just to get to some real content. ;D

Happy Wednesday!

I love Twitter! I just signed on to see what all the fuss was about, thinking that I'd be no more impressed with it than I was with Facebook. I was so wrong! My favorite thing about Twitter is that you can stay in touch without all the junk that comes with Facebook -- no one sending me Beanie Babies, Easter peeps or garden fauna...just 140 characters or less. I love it!

Now, if someone could just explain how twibes work...though I do think I'm on the cusp of understanding them, which is good since I've joined half a dozen or so.

Thanks for the insights. I am on twitter but I think I have only scratched the tip of the iceburg of what it offers. Off to check out more-thanks!
