Reading Chain

Make a chain ‘link’ from construction paper for each book your child reads  (or, depending on the age, that you read to your child) this summer. Write the title and author of each book on each ‘link’ and hang the chain along the top of a room. Watch it grow throughout the summer.

I can’t take credit for this one (the idea or the photos). A friend of mine, whose daughter is featured here, shared with me that she and her daughter are on their fourth reading chain at more than 150 books since the beginning of last summer!
