On with today’s idea…
Scheduled Playdates
So often I intend to schedule playdates with friends, but the time flies by and I forget. Last Spring Break I was very intentional and gave each child a day to invite friends for a playdate.
This summer I will do the same with a few dates throughout the summer.
Of course we will do other things with friends throughout, but by setting aside specific playdates at home and allowing each child to be in charge, I think I’ll get a different experience.
They will pick whom to invite and what to do. And by being intentional, I know that all of my children will get 3 (or so) chances to play host this summer to whomever they would like.
