Struggling with helping your child understand which shoe goes on which foot? I’ve got tool from the Toolbox for you!
R’s and L’s won’t help if your child doesn’t know her letters, but kissing smiley faces will.
Grab a pen and drew smiley faces on the inside rim of your child’s shoes at the same spot.
When the smiley faces can kiss, she’ll know she has her shoes on the right feet.

Love it! I’ll be doing that for my kids in the morning!
That’s a great idea. I’ve tried explaining to my kids that the velcro points out, but they don’t get that one.
Jenny: You can buy a silver sharpie for the dark shoes… Sharpie may come in white. I know it comes in silver because I have one.
That is such a nifty idea :D I’d have to use white though ’cause my sons shoes are black. ;)
Great idea! I’ve used the kissing thing, but never drew smiley faces! Perfect!
Girl, that’s brilliant.
Love that. Very clever.
Enjoyed meeting you last night! Can’t wait to do it again.
