I want to join because I want to give something back to God…my time. I want to show my love for Him in a tangible way. But also, I want to stay in the Word so that I know it, that I might not sin against Him. That I might understand, a bit more, the heart of God. And I’m sure that God will reveal many more blessings from doing this than I can imagine! But ultimately, it’s not about me.

I’m reading because I’ve attempted it before and never gotten that far. This time will be different, because I will be doing it with all of you and knowing we will get through all the “hard parts” together will help me to keep on reading!

I’m signed up and printing out the schedule now. I’ve read the Bible through a couple of times. We read through Proverbs every month with the children – and I read the Psalms in reverse order starting 150 days before my wedding nearly 16 years ago. :-)

I like what you said about seeing the Bible is true and has one author. Reading the Bible in 90 days has helped me connect the Old and New Testaments more than I ever did before. They're not disjointed, plan A/plan B, they're one continuous revelation about how God works in and through His chosen people. I've never read the entire bible, even though I have been a believe for as long as I can remember. I have the time, my husband is deploying and I need to occupy my time so as to make that go by faster.
