4-Week Philippians Devotional

bible-study-post

Wanna read through the book of Philippians with me for the next four weeks?

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted my devotions or hosted a study and, well, I’ve missed it and you, to be honest. My plate is also quite full with some other projects, so I’m going to take this one slowly and hopefully really digest what I’m reading.

My plan is to go s-l-o-w-l-y and read one chapter a week of Philippians. I’ll report back with my SOAP observations for the previous week each Monday.

I’d love for you to read along, and SOAP, too if you’re up for it. If you blog, feel free to post your own thoughts and share links to your posts each Monday.

Here’s the schedule:

  • Monday, May 20- Sunday, May 26- Read Philippians 1 and journal your thoughts, potentially using the SOAP devotional format
  • Monday, May 27- Post your thoughts from Philippians 1 on your own blog and/ or here on the weekly Philippians post on MomsToolbox and begin reading Philippians 2
  • Monday, June 3- Post your thoughts from Philippians 2 on your own blog and/ or here on the weekly Philippians post on MomsToolbox and begin reading Philippians 3
  • Monday, June 10- Post your thoughts from Philippians 3 on your own blog and/ or here on the weekly Philippians post on MomsToolbox and begin reading Philippians 4
  • Monday, June 17- Post your thoughts from Philippians 4 on your own blog and/ or here on the weekly Philippians post on MomsToolbox

So… what do you think? Wanna read with me? If so, please let me know in the comments.

    Happy Memorial Day
Here is my Soap for Chapter 1

Philippians 1:11..May you always be filled with the
fruit of your salvation- Those good things
that are produced in your life by Jesus Christ- for this will bring much glory
    and praise to GOD

Does my fruit glorify our Heavenly Father and bring HIM praise?

I should utilize this scripture as a self- check.. When I am feeling angry, upset, or
disappointed. Do I exhibit Godly fruit by my actions, or words?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Let my thoughts, actions, and words
be pleasing to you…and when they don’t please be my strength,
and help me, so I can Glorify You.

In Jesus Name I Ask and Thank You.
