Hi Amy, I tried to register with you for this 90 days bible reading session but I don’t what I did and it was sent to another tutor. I have been with your group for 3 years and I want to keep doing it with you. Could you add me to the list. I started reading yesterday. Yours in Christ Veronica Negrin

    1. Sorry for the confusion! You are still with me, but you also have another mentor in a small group who can check in with you personally more frequently than I am able. Another awesome volunteer is the woman who emailed you to let you know who that mentor would be. I hope you understand that with more than 300 readers in the program this time, I can only do this with a team. Thanks for joining us and for your understanding. I am so glad you are with us!

  5. I am 24 hours late but have started today

    1. I am so glad you are back with us again! :)

  8. Getting a late start, but it’s a start! Just found out about the challenge today, so I don’t have a mentor yet. I know it will change my life!

Off and running! I wanted to do this marathon reading because I want to read the whole Bible and I get lost around the 4 month mark with the yearly plans. I want to just sit back and let God’s words wash over me!

    1. I too would get stuck at the April timeframe when trying to read the Bible in a year! The Bible in 90 Days is intense but it has been the only way for me to successfully read cover to cover. A huge blessing to see all the comments here – we know you can do it!

Day 1 completed this morning, as planned. Even read ahead slightly for tomorrow bc I had a little extra time today.
I’m excited about getting through the whole Bible this time and thankful to have the support of this challenge.

Today’s reading complete! I read first thing this morning. I pray to have the discipline to get up each day and read first thing.

    1. Fantastic. I just prayed that for you, too. :)
      Miss you!!!

Woohoo!!! Just got off work and I plan to read DAY 1! I’ve made the decision to NOT turn on the TV until I’ve read the days assigned schedule!

    1. Way to go– and GREAT idea! :)

  18. Done!

    1. NICE! Keep it up! :)

  19. I’m about to get started – later than I had hoped! The enemy doesn’t want me doing this but I have the victory!

    1. You WILL have that victory with Him! :) SO glad you are reading with me! :)

Just getting started on today’s reading. :)

    1. Sweet! Soak it in! :)

  21. I’m just getting started for today and very excited about it!

  22. Headed to a swing outside to read today’s Bible reading. It’s a gorgeous afternoon in the North Georgia mountains! How blessed we are to have this opportunity! I am in prayer about whether or not to accept a job offer and praying to hear God’s guiding voice through this week’s reading time.

    1. Sounds wonderful! Would love to visit the north Ga mountains! You will be amazed how God speaks to you throughout the 90 day challenge!

I’ll be reading this afternoon while the kids are doing homework

  25. I finished the reading for Day 1. I timed myself and I finished just under an hour. I was reminded as I was reading that God has a purpose for everything he made (including us!) and that he works out his plan even when we may make mistakes and/or make a mess of things. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to start this journey with you all. Thanks Amy for doing this challenge and thanks Carrie for being my mentor! God bless you all this week.

    1. Yes! I was just talking to my kids about His Providence! It is so comforting to know He has a purpose for all of us and uses everything for His glory. So happy to hear from you Ashley and I’m excited to be with you!

  26. So excited! As I finished Day #1 reading, I was so aware of God’s goodness and His plan for us! So happy to be apart of this 90 journey!

  27. Ready to start. Ink out at home, at library printing the reading schedule. Now, off to home to start my reading. Might have to find me a book first…

Looking forward to getting started!! I’ve just pulled up the blog to get the assignment and check in. Now for reading!

  29. I just finished today’s reading. I agree with Mary…it took longer than I thought. I couldn’t resist taking a few notes to help me study after the 90 days are over. I found it hard to read without pausing to think about what I’d just read, too.

    1. This will get easier as the readings continue. Try to simply read – I used to reference scripture on the margins of the bookmark so I could return and research later. I also purposely read slower – the time commitment is worth it :)

      1. So true, Carrie! Thanks for being on our mentor team!.

  30. Week 1 check in. This is my second time through. I had promised myself to read it chronologically this time, so I’m sort of on my own. I got a chronological Bible, so I may be in a different book than the main group, but I’ll be reading and checking in for the duration.

I’ve finished the reading for today. It took a bit longer than I had accounted for. I’ll be waking up earlier! I’m excited to see this through.

  32. Cannot wait to get started! This is going to be worked into our homeschool curriculum for the summer!
