Bible in 90 Days Week 12 Check in Post

So, my friends and fellow Bible-readers, how is it coming? Are you flying through the New Testament, being amazed at the fulfillment of all that prophecy in the Old Testament? Are you drinking in every word of the Word? Or are you feeling like there is no possible way you will finish with us by Day 90 on April 2?

I have already read some glorious comments and tweets from some of you who have already finished and you have made my heart soar. If you have finished and haven’t yet sent me an email, PLEASE email me directly using the button at the top right of MomsToolbox.com. I would love to hear a bit about your experience and I would like to get our graduates list going as well. (!!!)

If you are feeling like you just cannot finish, please pray about it. Then get off of the computer, open your Bible and read read read! Carry it with you everywhere. Snag every second you can for the Lord and let Him fill you up. YOU CAN DO THIS… even if you are 30 days back. You really can.

Please make every effort to finish with us. I want to celebrate with you. I don’t want to leave you behind. I want you to finish. And I know you want to finish, too… right?

So let’s DO THIS!!!

Please leave a general comment here to either encourage others or ask for prayer. We are all in this together!

Then, find your group and check in.

And if ever you’d like to talk with me directly, please use that email button and start a conversation. I am here for you!

I am in Jeremiah too, it is not that I don’t enjoy it, I have just not made my reading as much of a priority as I should have. We can do it :) I hope to finish on time, I need to think of a time to just read for a large amount of time.

  2. I don’t see the link up either…but I blogged about it! http://www.faithlikemustard.com

  3. Oh, I’ve not seen but one comment on our group this week, so hopefully that’s not bad news! I got behind almost 7 days this last week (moving is such FUN! ;) But now I’m only 2 days behind! So, I’m still not caught up, but I will finish, I will finish, I will finish! (I may have to use the grace days for the first time this around! But I will finish in at least 90!)

  4. I don’t see a link-up. Anywho, I got the days read I lost last week with the visit with MIL. It was worth it :)

  5. I am still in Jeremiah, and not sure if I can finish in time. i will finish, just don’t know if I can do it on schedule.

    1. I wrote this on Friday, March 11th to my group. Maybe it will encourage you a bit?

I know it is not a check in day, but I just wanted to say that…

I am through Isaiah, Jeremiah and Lamentations! That was tough, tough, tough for me. Parts of it are beautiful, but it was still hard.

I figured out that Isaiah, Jeremiah and Lamentations are 121 pages and Ezekiel, Daniel and all the minor prophets are 106 pages. So in addition to being 2/3 the way through the Bible, I am over half-way through those prophets.

It occurs to me that I should pray to have my eyes opened to the prophets….

What I think I need to do is ask God to make me love the prophets and cause the prophets to be meaningful to me.

I am still a week to a week and a half behind.

I hope it encourages you to look back and see just how much you have read and gives you enthusiasm to press on!
