b90-check-in

Welcome to the Week 5 check in post for the Bible in 90 Days with MomsToolbox!

Today is our 29th day of reading, and our 5th weekly check in.
Things will start to get a bit repetitive, so hang in there as you read about things you just recently read. When I get to parts that aren’t as enjoyable, or may be repetitive, I just remind myself that there is a reason God put them in there, and then I just plow through and still read every word. I hope that helps you.

I’m on a family vacation this week, so I can especially appreciate trying to find times to read. Work days are hard for me, but vacation days can be even more challenging.

Whatever your challenges my be, I pray that you push through and keep reading. If you are behind, try your best to find, at minimum, an hour a day to read so you don’t slip more behind, but still keep momentum going. If you do that, there will be a better chance of you getting caught up with us at some point of the next 60 days.  :)

I am proud of each and every one of you for joining me on this challenge. We are nearly a third of the way there. Stick with it and you WILL be amazed!!!

This week’s resources

Download the following four sections of You Are Here in the Bible:

To prevent you from doing research where you have questions and take away from your precious reading time, Bible in 90 Days founder Ted Cooper wrote this resource to give you a bit of perspective as to what you will encounter in this week’s reading. If you have other questions, try not to research them, but just ask God to explain when the time is right and keep reading. If you must, keep a journal of all your questions to refer to once you have completed the 90 days of reading.

This week’s reading schedule:

  • Day 29 – 1 Chronicles 1:1 – 9:44
  • Day 30 – 1 Chronicles 10:1 – 23:32
  • Day 31 – 1 Chronicles 24:1 – 2 Chronicles 7:10
  • Day 32 – 2 Chronicles 7:11 – 23:15
  • Day 33 – 2 Chronicles 23:16 – 35:15
  • Day 34 – 2 Chronicles 35:16 – Ezra 10:44
  • Day 35 – Nehemiah 1:1 – 13:14

Each day’s assignment will also be posted on MomsToolbox each day as well as as on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

You can also download the Bible in 90 Days reading schedule or, if you are using the official Bible in 90 Days Bible, you already have it marked in your Bible.

Make it a point to read every day no matter what, even if you don’t have a block of time, read something. Carry your Bible with you everywhere throughout the day until you get your reading finished. Plan on it taking about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes per day.

Thanks so much for reading with me. Your reading encourages my reading… and the hundreds others, too, no doubt!

Soooo, ready to check in?

Well I am a mentor and I have been communicating with my mentees but just realized I hadn’t checked in myself this week … And perhaps last week too! Right on track and feeling like I finally have a routine down now, which is perfect considering we are now about 1/3 way through!

Haven’t been able to catch up but I am still plugging along.

    1. I’m with you …. behind still but not giving up. i’m plugging along. I am reading more than one’s day’s assignment each day but once you get behind it is hard to get caught up even at that pace.

It is interesting to see that it is an easier read this time through than it was when I went through the program a few years ago. :)
