The reading for Monday is Matthew 9.
When it is time to read, please start first by praying and thanking God for His many blessings. Be specific.
Next present your requests to Him. Ask Him for whatever you want and need.
Third, ask Him to guide you in your reading, so that you will hear his message for you today.
After you read, record your SOAP observations and then listen for three minutes. Set a timer and just listen to what he might be sharing. Don’t ask. Don’t thank. Just listen. (You can pray more after you listen, if you like.)
Here is what I heard in the reading:
Scripture: Matthew 9:38
Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Observation:
God knows that more workers are needed to share his message and love. Ask Him to send more workers.
Application:
I need help in sharing the Bible in 90 Days program on MomsToolbox twice a year. I could not do it without our amazing, dedicated mentor team and I am so thankful God brought each of those women to me so we could harvest together.
God recognizes that I need help. And perhaps He is telling me to ask for help with this, too.
Yesterday Sam posted a guest SOAP post. Perhaps God is telling me to ask for more help.
Before I began reading I asked, as I have asked so often especially lately, that God would give me discretion in figuring out my real to do list. I asked Him to show me how to get done what should be done to do His will. And now He says to ask for workers.

At first when I read, I was searching, searching, wondering what you had for me, wondering which message was mine for today and then, BAM!, you hit me with that one on my third read-through.
You were answering my call for help all along. I can’t wait to see what help comes my way.. and how, if at all, I can help anyone else who might be seeking. Please, Lord send the workers. Help us to grow a team for you to serve in the ways You intend for us to serve. I am so excited to see what happens next.
