Group 29 Bible in 90 Days Check In

Hi everyone,

My name is Kendra and I am your mentor. I am here to encourage as you read through the Bible in 90 days.

Please add your comments below. You may need to scroll down a bit to see them. It would be a great idea to bookmark this page and check in throughout the week. The more we all share the more we can encourage one another.  Please let me know if you are on track, ahead or behind.  And, be honest about where you are in your reading so I know how to pray and encourage you.  Feel free to comment on each other’s posts as well.

I have sent you all emails with the email addresses that you reported when you signed up for the challenge. You can expect an email from me at least once every 2 weeks, so please watch for it. There are still a couple of you that I haven’t heard from yet.

    I finished on Friday, April 15th! I am so thrilled!

    It took 103 days.

    Well, finally finished – what a great ride! I can honestly say I learned a ton through doing this – about myself, about God, about the Bible and certainly have a better cultural understanding too. It’s amazing when you read such large chunks in context what comes through – and yet how consistent the message is throughout. Blessings to all who are doing this!

    Hi all, forgot to check in on Monday. Still behind but will catch up – I am determined to finish in the 90 days allotted. I’m at the end of Acts and will continue reading till I catch up. Prayers are always and gladly appreciated.

    I fell even futher behind this last week. I’m w-a-y back in Mark. Still reading and I will get done when I get done. I would appreciate any prayers to help me push to get it done and help me see small bits of time that I can use to read.

      You can do it Leah. I’m praying you make it. I got behind this last stretch too. Believe me it happens faster than you can say ‘what?’. LOl

      I’m in Acts so lets keep each other in prayer for this week. Read every chance you get and Don’t close your Bible – keep it open on your dining table or where ever you are most active in your home. A chapter here or a couple of verses there really do add up.

        I hope to finish by the 100th day.

        I’d appreciate prayers to that end. In fact, I seem to be struggling with depression or something, so if you want to pray about that for me, I’d be very appreciative!

          Absolutely praying for the depression and your finishing. Where are you at in your reading now? You are SO close, just keep going! It is the greatest joy when you finish and worth every sacrifice made to get there.

    So since I’ve been behind the last few weeks I figured why break the cycle now? Today is day 85 and I’m still on day 82. I’ll make it on schedule, though! Thanks for praying, y’all!

    Hi everyone! Can you believe we are almost done??? I am still a little behind, (halfway through 2 Corinthians) but I’m trying to read in every spare minute. It would be wonderful to finish on Saturday, but even if it takes me more than 90 days I WILL finish.

    Almost there ladies!!!! I did some catch up reading this weekend, and I’m on currently halfway through today’s reading! Am on track to finish on time! I can’t believe it! Whoo-Hoo!

    And if you’re not on schedule, it’s OK. Please, Please don’t quit now! Just keep reading and DON’T STOP!!!

    Wow! It’s hard to believe we are in the last few days of this challenge! It really has flown by! I WAS on track to finish Wednesday, but looking more like Thursday now as the busy weekend got me away from being ahead!

    late check in this week – I’m am about 3 days behind – I broke the screen on my kindle so have to get the Bible out to read – I believe I am in John.

    Checking in. Still behind, but two-steps-forward-one-step-back catching up. (That’s a weird sentence and an unusual adverb.)

    And I am happy to report that I made it to the New Testament. What a contrast: prophets to gospels.
