Here is what I heard using the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/what-is-soap\/\" target=\"_blank\">SOAP devotional format<\/a>:<\/p>\n<h2>Scripture: Luke: 5:5<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>Simon answered, \u201cMaster, we\u2019ve worked hard all night and haven\u2019t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Observation:<\/h2>\n<p>What you are asking me to do doesn\u2019t really make sense, but I am going to do it anyway because you told me to do it.<\/p>\n<h2>Application:<\/h2>\n<p>It isn\u2019t up to me to make sense of what God asks or commands. It is up to me to simply have faith and do as told.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, how often I say this to my kids! And I am just as guilty as they are. They question me, I question my Father and want to understand everything, but everything is not up to me to understand. It is just up to me to follow.<\/p>\n<h2>Prayer:<\/h2>\n<p>Lord, thank you for loving me and guiding me, even when I question and hesitate. Please guide me, Lord, in hearing you more clearly and acting rather than wondering or trying to understand.
