Today our reading is Acts 11.<\/p>\n<p>Here is what stood out to me:<\/p>\n<h2>Scripture: Acts 11: 18<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p>When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God saying, \u201cSo then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Observation:<\/h2>\n<p>After hearing Peter\u2019s explanation of his vision and then actions, the other disciples were amazed and knew they could not object. They were amazed, though, in realizing that God\u2019s love encompassed even the Gentiles.<\/p>\n<h2>Application:<\/h2>\n<p>We are all God\u2019s children, even those people we don\u2019t like, don\u2019t trust and don\u2019t want to have around us. He loves us all. And all have the possibility of forgiveness and eternal life with our Father.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t think this means we need to go hang out with people we regard as bad or evil, but I think it does mean that we need to realize that they are loved, even if their choices and actions are not. And, as we saw in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/2012\/01\/11\/he-can-use-anyone-even-the-worst-guys-acts-9\/\" target=\"_blank\">Acts 9<\/a>, anyone can be changed and can see God\u2019s love, as God chooses to reveal Himself.<\/p>\n<h2>Prayer:<\/h2>\n<p>Lord, please guide me in removing prejudice from my heart where it lingers.
