(That is <strong>not<\/strong> an affiliate link.) I will warn you: It was an alarming book to read that disturbed me. But it also gave me ways to fight back and prepare my children. And I think I need to read through it again as my children are getting older.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t mean to be an alarmist, but we need to prepare our children for many things and, unfortunately, this is another of those.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>What are some of the ways you have protected and prepared your children? <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>What resources have you used to help you?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Have you talked with them about the possibility of attack?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How do you teach your child to protect her or himself?
