We weren&#8217;t allowed to get food in our packages, but I had a friend who was a master at the false bottom and she&#8217;d always send tons of candy hidden below the cardboard and confetti.\u00a0She also sent a party mix tape (this was the 1980s) and tons of confetti, and silly toys.<\/p>\n<p>Now that my kids go to summer camp (and I am allowed to send candy) I have a blast each year crafting care packages with silly, fun stuff.<\/p>\n<p>We send airplane craft kits, yo-yos, fake bugs and lizards, and, of course, candy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/camp-care-packages\/img_2073\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-11442\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-11442\" title=\"Summer Camp Care Packages\" src=\"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_2073-640x478.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"512\" height=\"382\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_2073-640x478.jpg 640w, http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/IMG_2073-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If your kids go to camp, what do \u00a0you include in your care packages (in addition to sweet notes, of course)??
