{"id":1328,"date":"2009-01-25T21:37:50","date_gmt":"2009-01-26T02:37:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/?p=1328"},"modified":"2012-01-07T12:03:33","modified_gmt":"2012-01-07T18:03:33","slug":"salad-saturday-4-on-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/salad-saturday-4-on-sunday\/","title":{"rendered":"Salad Saturday #4&#8230; on Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week I used one of my favorite salad dressings EVER with some of the traditional stuff:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/s539.photobucket.com\/albums\/ff360\/Momstoolbox\/?action=view&amp;current=DSCF2615.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/DSCF2615.jpg\" alt=\"Photobucket\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What is all that healthy deliciousness?&#8221; you ask&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Red Lettuce<\/p>\n<p>Spinach<\/p>\n<p>Roma Tomatoes<\/p>\n<p>A smidgen of yellow onion<\/p>\n<p>and reduced-fat Feta Cheese (I still had some in the fridge so on the salad it went!)<\/p>\n<p>I also sprinkled a chicken breast with an Italian seasoning mix and baked it in the oven to add it to the salad.<\/p>\n<p>To use less dressing and still get a lot of flavor, I made the salad in a bowl with a lid and measured out the dressing. Then I covered the salad and shook it up so the dressing would get on every piece of the salad.<\/p>\n<p>And, &#8220;Do tell about the dressing!&#8221; you say?<\/p>\n<p>Well, here ya go: It is a delicious Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette I first enjoyed on vacation in Vermont.
