Going through it backwards has made it interesting for me, as the verses are unwrapping in a different way. I know it&#8217;s the best way to memorize, but I&#8217;m still deciding if it is the right way to study. Either way, I like what&#8217;s in store for us today. And I&#8217;m not sure if it would have struck me as much had I been working top to bottom.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Scripture: Psalm 121:5<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p>The Lord watches over you&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>the Lord is your shade at your right hand.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>Observation:<\/h3>\n<p>He will keep watch and shield you from harm<\/p>\n<h3>Application:<\/h3>\n<p>I love this analogy! I love the image of the\u00a0sun beating down on me and God reaching out to keep me cool in all of heat&#8230; while still allowing me to see the beauty and growth the sunshine brings.<\/p>\n<h3>Prayer:<\/h3>\n<p>Lord, thank you so much for your gift of protection in the heat of life on earth&#8211; the stress and tribulations. Thank you for being my shade when I need you and my encourager always. I love you. Thank you for this gift today. I absolutely love how you&#8217;ve shared this with me.\u00a0And I love to be back in the swing of SOAP. I missed it!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Scripture Memorization:<\/h3>\n<p>If you are <a title=\"How to memorize anything easier\" href=\"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/how-to-memorize-anything-easier\/\" target=\"_blank\">memorizing<\/a> this Psalm along with me, here is what you should be working on today:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Psalm 121: 5-8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Lord watches over you&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>the Lord is your shade at your right hand;<\/p>\n<p>the sun will not harm you by day,<\/p>\n<p>nor the moon by night.<\/p>\n<p>The Lord will keep you from all harm&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>he will watch over your coming and going<\/p>\n<p>both now and forevermore.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>What did today&#8217;s verse say to you?
