Good Morning!<\/p>\n

We are five days into this latest reading plan and\u00a0if\u00a0you are reading the Bible with me and the rest of the MomsToolbox community, I hope you are enjoying it and hearing God’s word speak to you. Here’s our Daily SOAP Devotion reading for today:<\/h2>\n

Acts 5\u00a0<\/strong>
\n
\nHere’s what I heard the loudest in Acts 5 using the SOAP Devotional Method<\/a>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Scripture: Acts 5: 39<\/h2>\n

But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.<\/p>\n

Observation:<\/h2>\n

When people follow God’s plan, they cannot be stopped in carrying out what He directs.<\/p>\n

Application:<\/h2>\n

If I am in tune with what God has planned for me, his plans will be unstoppable. I almost wrote “I” will be unstoppable, but I don’t think that is what is intended here.<\/p>\n

We may not know how his plans will come into being, but once we take part and truly do His work, following His guidance, the efforts will be unstoppable.<\/p>\n

This verse is reminding me to work hard to listen to Him. It is reminding me to stop in the busy, in the hustle and bustle, in the massive to-do lists, and seek His guidance and then listen carefully to it. If I am able to hear and do as He guides, those efforts will be strong.<\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/h2>\n

Lord, please guide me in being guided by you. Help me to pause as I need to and regroup, and listen for YOUR direction. When I am doing your work, amazing things happen. I see your hand in so much of what I am doing. Thank you for that. Please, Lord, keep me close. Keep me listening. And keep me acting under your direction, not my own. Thank you, Lord.<\/p>\n
