\nIf you are reading with me, today we are on Proverbs 26. (Remembering what to read in the Proverbs is as easy as remembering the day’s date when you read them with me.) That being said:<\/p>\n

Today’s Reading: Proverbs\u00a026<\/h1>\n

Using the SOAP devotional method<\/a>, here’s what I heard this time…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Scripture: Proverbs 26:11<\/h2>\n

Like a dog that returns to its vomit<\/p>\n

is a fool tho repeats his folly.<\/p>\n

Observation:<\/h2>\n

Don’t make the same mistakes over and over again.<\/p>\n

Application:<\/h2>\n

The same actions repeated will bear the same results. If those actions didn’t yield results, they won’t begin to yield results. Rather than continue them, I need to learn from them, modify and move on.<\/p>\n

I have a few applications that come to mind for this, but I’d rather not share the specifics.<\/p>\n

The message is a strong one, though.<\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/h2>\n

Lord, you know which mistakes I need to stop making. I think I do, too.<\/p>\n

Please guide me in moving forward with progress rather than sitting still in frustration. Show me the next path and actions to take. I trust you. Show me the way and I will follow it.<\/p>\n
