Good morning! I’m in the Pacific time zone today, so my post is going up a tad later than is typical.<\/p>\n

I’m traveling for business and have some very encouraging meetings lined up for today and tomorrow.<\/p>\n

I decided to check out Psalm 3 today and it had some great reassurance for me.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Here’s what I heard in Psalm 3:<\/h2>\n

Scripture:\u00a0Psalm 3: 3<\/h3>\n

But you, O Lord, are a shield about me,<\/p>\n

my glory, and the lifter of my head.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Observation:<\/h3>\n

God protects me in the storm. Knowing that keeps my spirits up.<\/p>\n

Application:<\/h3>\n

The rest of this Psalm talks about all those enemies around the Psalmist. This is the refreshment within.<\/p>\n

I have felt weary as a mom and as a business owner. Over the past few days, though, the storm seems to have broken in a few areas. The sunshine is coming out… And it feels GREAT!<\/p>\n

He has been my shield and has kept me going when I was weary. He has lifted my head up when I was trudging along.<\/p>\n

I am ever so grateful.<\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/h3>\n

Oh, Heavenly Father, thank you for your constant love and grace. Thank you for being here with me now and always. Thank you for giving me strength and encouragement when I needed it. Thank you for being a shield, my glory, and the lifter of my head. You are wildly amazing. Thank you.<\/p>\n

In your Son’s name I pray,<\/p>\n
