\"bible-study-post\"This morning’s SOAP could either be encouraging or discouraging, depending on where you are. I sure hope you see it as an encouragement.<\/p>\n

I opted to look at the chapter as a whole rather than pull just one verse.<\/p>\n

Here is what I heard from Psalm 13:<\/h2>\n

Scripture: Paslam 13<\/h3>\n

You can read all of Psalm 13 using Bible Gateway<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Observation:<\/h3>\n

There may\u00a0be times when you feel as though you do not hear Him. Do not give up, though.<\/p>\n

Application:<\/h3>\n

There may be\u00a0times when God may appear to be silent, or He actually may be silent. That does not mean He is not listening. That does not mean He does not care.<\/p>\n

When in a season of not hearing, stay strong. Continue to reach out. Psalm 13:5 guides us when we are in those positions:<\/p>\n

“But I trust in your unfailing love;<\/span>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>my heart rejoices in your salvation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Stay firm in believing and seeking HIm. He will answer.<\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/h3>\n

Lord, I feel as though I am hearing you loud and clear so much lately. And that is AWESOME! Thank you so much for that.<\/p>\n

There are people close to me, though, that feel as though they are wandering and lost and don’t hear you. Please, Lord, let them some across this verse and know you ARE right there. And that Bible ‘greats’ felt lost at times, too. (You know I’ve felt that way at times, too.)<\/p>\n

Please, Lord, let those who are struggling hear you and feel your pull. Help them to see your direction and the gifts you prepare for them daily.<\/p>\n

Help all of us to seek and see your face.<\/p>\n

And please, Lord, continue to direct my path. I sure need you.<\/p>\n

In your son’s name I pray,<\/p>\n

Amen.<\/p>\n
