This past weekend I spent leading my daughter and some girls from her Girl Scout troop in their first camping experience.\u00a0The rest of the troop (minus 2 girls) will camp for the first time in November, sand I have no doubt this first group will be fantastic leaders for the rest of the troop on that trip. That being said, if yo were wondering why I wasn’t posting Saturday and Sunday, that is why. I read Psalm 19 and 20 and prayed about them, but did not post.<\/p>\n
If you missed those chapters entirely, it will be well worth it to give them a read today. Both had great gems in them<\/p>\n
Today I read Psalm 21.<\/p>\n
For the king trusts in the Lord<\/span>;<\/span><\/p>\n
through the unfailing love of the Most High<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
he will not be shaken.<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Observation:<\/h3>\n
All the verses above this one are so gorgeous and this one really sums them up:<\/p>\n
Trusting in the Lord and his powerful love gives us incredible, unshakable strength.<\/p>\n
Application:<\/h3>\n
The key to amazing power and strength is firm trust in God. Listening to Him, communing with Him will bring us strength.<\/p>\n
I have found this to be true. He has amazed me with His faithfulness and guidance when I have taken the time to really present my questions to Him and then listen, putting Him in charge.<\/p>\n
Prayer:<\/h3>\n
Lord, thank you so so much for your guidance and love. Thank you for your direction. Thank you for strength that comes from you. You have guided me through many battles. Please keep me strong. Don’t let succumb when weary. Please strengthen me.\u00a0Please guide me in going where I need to go in the way I need to get there.<\/p>\n
