Good morning from San Francisco! I’m here for an event that takes place tomorrow and my heart is bursting with joy at the opportunity I have been given to be a part of it. I can’t give you more details now, but perhaps tomorrow I can share.<\/p>\n

What I can say now is that, once agin, He has amazed me with my Bible reading for the day. I could be nervous about all that is to happen, but instead He is calming and steadying me. I love this!<\/p>\n

So, here’s what I heard in Psalm 23 today:<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

Scripture: Psalm 23:2 (and part of 3)<\/h3>\n

He makes me lie down in green pastures.<\/p>\n

He leads me beside still waters.<\/p>\n

He restores my soul.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Observations:<\/h3>\n

He soothes me and calms me.<\/p>\n

Application:<\/h3>\n

Turn to Him to be soothed and calmed. He will restore you, if you call on Him. He really will.<\/p>\n

You should really read all of Psalm 23<\/a> if you can. It’s just a gorgeous passage, and not just for funerals. It’s great for every day.<\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/h3>\n

Lord, I love this entire passage. You sharing it with me was beautifully comforting. Thank you so much for that. I also saw a touch of humor in there, which I will cherish all day long.<\/p>\n

Thank you for caring enough to know I could use a little soothing and thank you for offering that to me. Today and tomorrow (and hopefully always), should\u00a0I feel myself start to get frazzled, I will remind myself of Psalm 23.<\/p>\n
