I found this one in The Ultimate Smoothie Book and modified by adding ice.\u00a0 It has 31.1g carbohydrates and I love it! I usually drink it with peanut butter and banana toast and also lots of water on my way to a ride.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Carb Power Smoothie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Yields 2 servings<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00bd cup apple juice<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd cup plain low-fat yogurt<\/p>\n<p>1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries\u00a0 (rinse if fresh)<\/p>\n<p>1 cup frozen unsweetened peaches, sliced<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p>1 teaspoon lecithin granules<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd teaspoon abscorbic acid (Vita min C powder)<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd teaspoon pure almond extract<\/p>\n<p>Ice cubes (Sorry for a lack of measurement- I never measure these!)<\/p>\n<p>Combine all ingredients and blend.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A few friends have asked what type of smoothie I drink before a long ride.
