It was great to get a nice (albeit quick) visit in with a friend and her adorable almost one-year-old. My friend&#8217;s husband is the one who got us involved in all this MS 150 business, so I don&#8217;t think she minded me showing up unexpected and in cycling gear. She even offered me a bathroom break and fresh water. Cute baby, nice friend and\u00a0running water&#8230; does\u00a0a rest stop get any better?<\/p>\n<p>Ride Stats:<\/p>\n<p>length: 28.38 miles<\/p>\n<p>average speed: 15.2 mph<\/p>\n<p>maximum speed: 22.2 mph<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0average heartrate: 81%<\/p>\n<p>maximum heartrate: 116% (I was trying to catch up with, and then keep up, with 2 guys who were way too fast for me.
