I had a super quick, less-than-24-hour stay in New York this week for a meeting with a fellow IBM Watson partner. <\/p>\n

I needed a hotel with a great lobby or lounge space where we could meet that was also convenient to Soho. Hotel Hugo fit the bill perfectly!<\/p>\n

The website led me to believe it would be sophisticated without being stuffy and, yep, that’s exactly what it delivered. <\/p>\n

My room was great, with sleek decorative touches, nice linens and cool toiletries. The mini-bar was nicely stocked, too– although I didn’t partake. <\/p>\n

\nWe met in the lounge area of the cafe on the ground floor. <\/p>\n

I loved the gorgeous, leaf-covered wall at check in and in the cafe:<\/p>\n

\nDuring our meeting we indulged in a few snacks:<\/p>\n

\nThe cookies were warm, soft and not too sweet. Perfect!<\/p>\n

The hotel had a great location for what I needed, and was a 20-minute walk to one of my favorite restaurants in town, Chef’s Club:<\/a> <\/p>\n
