Welcome, dear readers!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Whew! Isaiah is not easy reading… at least not for me. I love reading joy, happiness, and wisdom… and this held lots of doom and gloom and struggle. Ouch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It made me so thankful for eternity with Christ, though, that is for sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t take many notes as I was reading. Instead my journal entries held more prayers than reflections on the reading… which I still see as a big win. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I did write this on Friday:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Eeek. More bad stuff. I do NOT want to be on the wrong side FOR SURE!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am truly thankful for the prophets for pointing us to the right way, uncovering mysteries. Yes, they spoke in ways that were mysterious at times and I believe there are many mysteries yet to be understood. But they still pointed the way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then there is our Savior, Jesus Christ, the answer and fulfillment to so many prophesies. I am truly thankful for Christ who showed true love and truth… and paid the price of my sins, of all of our sins. Without Him I know I would be in a lot of trouble. This reading sure reminded me of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m ready to push through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so… <\/p>\n\n\n\n
