Are you searching for a slower paced, yet still challenging and exciting read through of the entire Bible?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If so, I’ve got a plan for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please join me here on MomsToolbox, February 1- July 30<\/strong>, as I guide you through reading the entire Bible, cover to cover, in just six months. (If you haven’t subscribed to receive daily blog posts yet<\/a>, I highly recommend it. The post in your inbox will be a great reminder of what to read each day.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will begin reading Wednesday, February 1.<\/strong> I will share the coming week’s reading plan here on MomsToolbox each Tuesday evening and will also post each day’s reading assignment on the correlating day… All you have to do is open your Bible and read! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You should prepare to spend about 30 minutes each day reading.<\/strong> For some it will go faster and others it may go slower. Provided you follow the plan, at the end of the 6 months, you will have read every word of the Bible, in order, from cover to cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How much you study or journal is up to you… I’m just here to break down the reading into digestible chunks and encourage you to keep reading. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will post resources throughout the program to give a bit of perspective on what you are reading<\/strong>… a Biblical timeline and where the week’s assignment fits in, a list of people you will come across in the reading and the like. My goal is to keep you READING, not searching the internet and getting distracted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can use any translation of the Bible that you choose.<\/strong> I typically read this NIV Bible, which I also use when reading in 90 days. It has minimal footnotes<\/a> to keep me focused on the reading and not flipping around to check things out. The choice is yours. As a heads up for our Catholic readers, this plan does not include the additional books which are in the Catholic Bible but not in Protestant versions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The community aspect of reading can be a strong encouragement. Because of this, I ask that you post a comment at least on weekly posts each Tuesday evening\/ Wednesday morning to let us know where you are in the reading.<\/strong> Bonus points go to those who post encouraging replies to others comments. The comments and replies REALLY DO make a difference for all involved. When you are behind and post a comment about it, know I will be praying for you. I have no doubt others will, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Invite a few friends to join you in reading with us. <\/strong>Having a group of “in person” friends as accountability partners will help increase the odds of you finishing the reading each day… and in 6 months. Plus the more comments the merrier, for sure!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
