Hello and welcome to Day 3 of Journaling through the Bible in 90 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have found that day four is where is becomes a bit of a challenge. So HANG IN THERE and KEEP READING both today and tomorrow, okay? You can do this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today’s message grabbed me right from the start and stayed with me through the rest of the reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ready?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today’s reading: Genesis 28:20 – Genesis 40:11<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Here’s what I heard today:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honor Him with a return of a tenth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Scripture: Genesis 28:22<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“and this stone that I have set up as a pillar will be God’s house, and of all that you give me I will give you a tenth.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Observation: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Jacob determines that he will give the Lord a tenth of all of his earnings and also acknowledges that all he earns comes from the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This SOAP journal<\/a> is a memorial to God’s provision. I will contribute 10% of what comes my way in royalties from its sales to Faithbridge Church, where I learned of SOAP. :) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Father, thank you for your provision in so many ways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for giving me the tools and resources to share this way of reading and journaling the Bible and to publish a journal to guide others in doing so. I will be honored to make a contribution each month as a direct response to this provision. Thank you for your reminder to return the gifts to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
