SOAP journal<\/a> to record my thoughts. :) I did use a Kindle version of the Bible for Days 1 and 2, but now I am back to the old school printed version.<\/p>\n\n\n\nHow is it going for you? I’d love to hear all about it in the comments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today’s Reading: Genesis 40:12- 50:26<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Here’s what I heard:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even when bad things happen, He is there (and can use them for good)<\/h2>\n\n\n\nScripture: Genesis 50:20<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Observation:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Joseph’s brothers were pretty awful to him, acting out of jealousy. God took that and made their actions one chapter in a much better story. What was seen as (and was) evil was redeemed and used by God in a much better way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Application:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Things may look bad and be bad, but God can use anything for His purpose. Focus on Him even in the rough times. He is there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Father, I love you. I trust you. Thank you for this reminder that you can use all<\/em> of our circumstances for your plan. Help me to see your light (or know it is coming) even in the darkness. You will always guide me if I choose to seek you. You are always there. Thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n\nWhat about you?–What did you hear today?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
