Today’s Reading: Numbers 21:8- 32:19<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scripture: Numbers 30:2<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When a man makes a vow to the Lord or takes an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word but must do everything he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Observation:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When you make a vow, hold to it<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I want to be a woman of my word, always. I also want to do more than I realistically can do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both to God and to others I need to\/ should think before I say yes– and only say yes if I really can and will do whatever I am saying yes to doing. I need to be honest with myself and others here. I need to make my yes be yes and no be no. No explanation needed, just honesty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Father,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you for your forgiveness when I mess up and don’t keep my vows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t want to do that. I want to honor what I say I will do… and I want to do way too much more than I can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Help me to think deeply before making any vows and only assert those I can follow. And then, in knowing I am not perfect, thank you in advance for your forgiveness when I fall short.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love you. I need you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
