Then they will not bring shame on the word of God.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Observation:<\/strong> Younger women need to be trained in appropriate behavior by older women to behave in ways honoring to the Lord.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application:<\/strong> This passage is actually quite reassuring to me.<\/p>\n<p>Almost ever since I became a mom I\u2019ve been searching for a nearby mentor. Serving in the role of a mom was a big adjustment for me. And being a submissive wife is certainly a challenge, as well.<\/p>\n<p>Reading this shows me that I am not alone. It\u2019s okay that all of that doesn\u2019t come naturally. I am meant to be trained and mentored.<\/p>\n<p>And I am so thankful to the Christian mentoring I am receiving, whether that be in person or via some excellent women\u2019s resources online and in other media.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer:<\/strong> Lord, thank you for this reassurance today.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s nice to know that I am not a failure who just doesn\u2019t get it, but that your intention is that the older should mentor the younger. Please guide me in obtaining the training and mentoring you have in mind for me. And when it is my turn, show me how to train and mentor in a way honoring you alone and not me.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you, Lord, for the mentors and resources available to me. Please help those moms and wives who feel\u00a0 lost and don\u2019t know where to turn.
