And often I feel powerless. (I\u2019m glad I feel the love often!)<\/p>\n<p>I want to accomplish more than I actually get done, and when I don\u2019t get things done, I get frustrated with myself.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes I don\u2019t accomplish that to-do list because I forget how much time each task really takes and sometimes I fall short because I procrastinate or get a tad lazy.<\/p>\n<p>Reading this today reminded me that I do have self-discipline and I do have strength\u2026 They are in there as gifts from the Holy Spirit. I just need to call on them and put them to use.<\/p>\n<p>I cannot let the enemy lead me to beat myself up and think I lack self-discipline and therefore can\u2019t get things done that need to get done.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve got the power in me. I just need to call on it. And call on Him for wisdom in setting my priorities daily.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer:<\/strong> Heavenly Father, I can get all that you want me to get done through you.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for the gifts mentioned here: those of power, love and self-discipline.<\/p>\n<p>Please forgive me when I listen to the enemy and let that self-discipline slip. And forgive me when I feel powerless in light of my sometimes overwhelming to-do list.<\/p>\n<p>Please, Lord, guide me in setting my priorities and in setting my to-do list. Guide me in being realistic in what should be done, in what can be done and, most important, in setting my goals to be honoring to you.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for these gifts of power, love and self-discipline, among many others.<\/p>\n<p>Please remind me of them when I need to be reminded.
