Scripture: Proverbs 20:7<\/strong><\/p>\n

The righteous man leads a blameless life;<\/p>\n

Blessed are his children after him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Observation:<\/strong> One who lives with integrity cannot be blamed for wrongdoing and his children also reap the benefits.<\/p>\n

Application:<\/strong> Today I am reading and praying through chapter 14 of The Power of Praying Wife.<\/em> We are praying for our husbands\u2019 integrity.<\/p>\n

As I was reading through this chapter, I was counting my blessings as to how fortunate I am to be married to man who exemplifies integrity. He really does do the right thing\u2026 even when no one is looking.<\/p>\n

I have appreciated this trait for many years, so, as I was reading this morning, I began to wonder how he got that way.<\/p>\n

It occurred to me that for many years G had a wonderful business partner who has had a very positive influence in my husband\u2019s life. I remember the first time I saw his partner\u2019s office I was impressed by the snippets of wisdom he had posted near his computer. And I was encouraged to see some similar ones by G\u2019s computer, as well. (I was still getting to know G at the time.)<\/p>\n

G and his more-experienced business partner worked almost side-by side in separate offices\u2014There was a sliding window adjacent to their desks on the wall that separated their offices. They would pass notes and have conversations through the window.<\/p>\n

His business partner had a great influence long before they were business partners, though. His partner was also his dad. And his dad is a man of great integrity, as is his mom.<\/p>\n

My husband inherited a legacy of integrity, just as the Bible says. And I am excited to think that he, too, will pass that legacy on to his children.<\/p>\n

Wow. What a blessing!<\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/strong> Heavenly Father, thank you so much for the foundation you placed in my husband years before he was born and years before I even met him.<\/p>\n

No, his is not perfect and he is a sinner just as we all are, except your son, Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

But G is a man of integrity. And I am proud to be his wife. And I am thankful for his father and mother who instilled that in him. Thank you, Lord, for them.<\/p>\n

Please guide us as we try our best to show and teach integrity in our home, as well, so that we can also pass down that legacy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
