Those who serve others before themselves will be truly honored.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application:<\/strong> It is so hard to not get caught up in seeking status of one kind or another. There are lots of ways to seek status out there that are more than just the obvious cars, clothes and typical status symbols.<\/p>\n<p>I need to really think about all that I do and why I do it. Am I doing it to honor the Lord or to make me \u2018look\u2019 better? And if I am doing it to make myself look better in one arena or another\u2026 Why and I doing that? How can I change that? Are my actions honoring myself or my Father?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer:<\/strong> Lord, please guide me in examining my motives in all the areas in my life. I don\u2019t think I seek traditional status symbols. But I bet there are a few others I chase.
