Because of the great differences, Job feels unable to approach God and is yearning for someone to bridge that gap.

Application: Wow. We have it so easy. Job was hurting and didn’t know what to do. He was in great despair and didn’t know where to go with his questions because he knew he was unworthy to approach the Creator with his concerns.

We have Jesus. And I’ve known Jesus was there for as long as I can remember. I may have not called on Him always, but I was the one who chose to neglect that choice and explore it.

Job didn’t have that choice. He longed for one to bridge the gap to God but didn’t know Him.

I cannot imagine what that would be like… yet there are many, many people today who do not know of Jesus and they may be crying out for an arbitrator as Job is.

I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to know Jesus and also that I have the opportunity to share His love and the fact that he exists with those who do not know Him or even know of Him.

I can share this wonderful revelation with those who do not know Him, and help to end their suffering, or I can keep it to myself. I think I’ll share.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for your grace and for your son who said that He is the way the truth and the life and that He is the way to you.

Thank you for offering this bridge of love to you and thank you for allowing me to know Him for so long.

Thank you for this reminder this morning of those who do not know Jesus and are lost and feeling helpless when it comes to approaching you.

Thank you for the opportunity you have given me in sharing the good news about you to people all over the world through the convenience of the internet through Global Media Outreach.

Please guide my efforts there and help me to continue to shine your light where it needs to be seen.

And thank you, Lord, for keeping that terrible, hopeless feeling that Job had, and many other have, from me.
