{"id":3002,"date":"2010-03-25T08:24:18","date_gmt":"2010-03-25T13:24:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/?p=3002"},"modified":"2011-05-30T20:59:11","modified_gmt":"2011-05-31T01:59:11","slug":"b-90-days-soap-pray-for-all-even-the-bad-guys","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/b-90-days-soap-pray-for-all-even-the-bad-guys\/","title":{"rendered":"B 90 Days SOAP: Pray for all, even the &#8216;bad guys&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Day 84 of the Bible in 90 Days<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Scripture: 1 Timothy 2: 1-4<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>1<\/strong>I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone&#8211; <strong>2<\/strong>for kings and all those in authority, that we all may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. <strong>3<\/strong>This is good, and pleases God or Savior, <strong>4<\/strong>who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Observation:<\/strong> Pray for everyone, so that they will come to know the Lord and live according to His will.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application:<\/strong> I need to pray for all who cross my mind: the good guys and the bad guys.\u00a0 The ones I trust and the ones I fear. All need Christ and it is my duty, as a follower of Christ, to love all and pray for all.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer:<\/strong> Lord, thank you for this reminder to be all-inclusive in my prayers, and to continue praying for those with whom I may not agree or may not even understand.<\/p>\n<p>Guide me as I pray for criminals, terrorists, other &#8216;bad guys&#8217; and &#8216;good guys&#8217; alike. We are all your children. We are all loved by you. And we all need relationships with you.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for coming into my life so fully and guiding me to grow in you.
