Scripture: Jeremiah 10:23<\/strong><\/p>\n

I know, O Lord, that a man’s life is not his own;<\/p>\n

It is not for a man to direct his steps.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Application:<\/strong> It’s easy to write this on paper (And type it into a file). And it is not too challenging to believe. Yet I find this pretty challenging to embrace completely on a daily basis.<\/p>\n

Society says I’m in charge- and I’ve seen the fruits of my labor as well as the lack of fruits for those that do not labor. But there is more to it than that.<\/p>\n

It is up to me to consult, listen and follow God via Jesus. It is up to me to take action and use the gifts and tools I have been given.<\/p>\n

First, though, I must ask God’s direction. He knows the master plan. If I consult him in forming my own plan, He will reveal what I need to know from his. If my heart is true, and I am working for him, I bet he’ll guide me in the right direction and bring eternal success.<\/p>\n

Sometimes it is hard to see past right now and today. I often want\/ think I need something right away. But by succumbing to him, true peace will result.<\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/strong> Thank you, Lord, for creating a master plan for me. And thank you for your forgiveness and gentle correction when I want to control it. Sure, my control may bring wordly success, but yielding control to you will bring true peace and eternal riches. Please don’t give up on me when I stumble. Thank you for your constant love.<\/p>\n

Please help me to hear your guidance as I need it and follow it as I should.<\/p>\n
