Today’s Reading: <\/strong>Psalms 138-140<\/p>\n

Scripture: Psalm 139: 13-14<\/strong><\/p>\n

13For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.<\/p>\n

14Ipraise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;<\/p>\n

your works are wonderful,<\/p>\n

I know that full well.<\/p>\n

Observation:<\/strong> The Lord created me completely and He does good work. :)<\/p>\n

Application: <\/strong>Today’s passage made me smile due to its timing.<\/p>\n

Today is my birthday. I feel like today’s passage is a birthday card from my Creator.<\/p>\n

Before I read this morning I prayed for a phone call from my husband who is very far away at the World Cup. I was a bit embarrassed to pray for such a thing (and feel silly admitting it here) but I did. And now I get this reassuring, beautiful birthday greeting from God.<\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/strong> Thank you, Lord, for this beautiful birthday greeting!<\/p>\n

Wow! You did know all the days for me long ago (v.16). You knew I would read this today of all days and it would make me smile.<\/p>\n

Thank you, Lord, for this reassurance that I was made just the way you intended.<\/p>\n

Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to be who I am and thank you for allowing me to serve you. It’s been a lot of fun!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
