I am married to a wonderful guy who is struggling to find Jesus (please join me in prayer.)

I hadn’t known much of the Bible before 3 years ago, when I was saved…..before then, it had been bits, pieces and nuggets…..most of it wasn’t the entire truth, as I was raised in a non-Christian religion. God saved me, and gave me a deep and instant love for His Word. I’ve tried off and on for the last 3 years to read cover to cover, mostly getting sidetracked by a topic (or boredom!!) Too slow and too little at a time for me! When I found Bible in 90 Days and discovered Amy’s website, I was hooked. I was a month late in joining up, and for a month or so, I thought I’d finish a month late too. But God is faithful and provided me with days on end and desire unending to read and read the last few days, and I finished with the group (61 days!) What an amazing experience to see the Whole Story all at once. I am amazed at the God I serve–He is faithful, He provides and He loves. Can’t wait to encourage and help those of you who need it, and I can’t wait to read the Bible in NINETY days again!

Kari blogs @ www.bitsofyarn.wordpress.com

Twitter ID: @karidyan

Jolanthe

I am a mom of 4 energetic kiddos (ages 9, 7, 5, and 3) and wife to a wonderful man, who graciously embraces my many endeavors. I also partner with my friend Carisa in heading up the Totally Tots blog.

Prior to being a part of the B90Days program in January I had never read through the Bible. Chunks of it, yes, but never in whole. Something my mom was very surprised to hear (and truthfully I was ashamed to admit).

Even though the ladies reading along with me weren’t physically here in person to hold me accountable, the online community of readers was wonderful to keep me going through the tough parts of reading (and I was surprised at what I found to be tough for me to read!). The 90 days that I participated in the program were wonderful! Yes, it’s a lot of reading, but I can honestly say it’s reading that I would prefer over any other. Looking back, it is something that really helped me shift my priorities and focus onto what was REALLY important in my life — the Word of God being the center focus. I learned so much through the process and am excited to start again with a different version in hand this time to see what God reveals to me in this 90 days.

Twitter ID: @jolantheerb

Celee

Hi, I’m Celee and I completed the Jan 1- March 31, 90 Day Bible Challenge. Although I’ve been involved in Bible study for over 25 years, I had never before read the Bible in such a short period of time. The Old Testament became so much more meaningful to me as I was able to see how the New Testament really is an extension of God’s revelation, not a plan B. I learned so much and my husband saw changes in my character while I was doing the challenge, which is what it’s really all about. It was hard to set aside an extra hour each day just for reading the Bible, but it was well worth it.

Celee blogs at Miscellaneous Musings of a 5X Mom.

Nicole

I’m Nicole. I am a follower of Jesus, wife to Justin, mom to Jaxson (2 1/2), Tot Schooling mom, decorator of our home, and excited traveler. I write at Adventures with the Ross Family which started out as place where our extended family in other parts of the country could see what we are up to. But it has slowly evolved in documenting our Tot School and a place where I write out my thoughts on passages as I read in the Bible as well. I’m reading the Bible in 90 Days again because it has changed my life. I no longer see the Bible as an old book that I “should” read, but a book full of God’s love and devotion towards us. I felt called to serve as a mentor because I know how daunting this challenge can be and it helped me so much to know that there were others out there in the online community that would cheer me on when I got behind or discouraged by a tough passage of the Bible.

Twitter ID: @NicoleRoss79

Candace

My name is Candace and I’m 33yrs old. I am married to a wonderful man, David; we have 3 children and live in East TN. I homeschool the children and that is what takes up most of my time these days, though we are pretty active in our church as well. I have tried reading the Bible through from cover to cover multiple times, and am sad to say that age 33yrs I had never read the entire Bible!! Until this past Spring!! :) Yay!! For me, reading it quickly with the 90 day plan helped me tremendously!! The parts that were hard for me to get through (like a few of the OT books) I only had to spend a few days with total, so that helped me to be able to move through them knowing it wasn’t going to be forever. :) I enjoyed the 90 day plan so much and am so glad that I found this plan and Amy’s blog to help me through this process!! The Word of God has become even more dear to me than it was before. I have struggled with depression off and on for a few years now, and God’s Word has truly been a lifeline to me…He has encouraged me, comforted me and given me much insight as I have clung to Him and His Word. I am praying that each of you that takes this journey through the Bible will also be encouraged and inspired in your walk with Him!!

Candace blogs at His Mercy is New.

Roberta

I am 53 years old and live in Bay Springs, Mississippi. My husband and I have been married for 33 years and I have a wonderful step-daughter along with 4 grandchildren ranging in ages from 17 years to 2 years old. Besides working full time in the human resource department of a manufacturing corporation, I also take care of my sister and terminal care mother.

I have only read through the Bible twice in my life and sad to say the first time was when I was 48 years old. The first time I used the year reading format and then the second time I read the Bible through was this past spring with Amy at Momstoolbox using the 90 day format. While reading the Bible in 90 days was a bit of a challenge, my eyes were opened to a renewed love for God’s Word that I had not noticed when I read the Bible through in one year. One of the major benefits, I found, is that I was able to see a book of the Bible in its entirety all at once in a short period of time – this is what I called my “aha, I see and understand” moments. The whole Bible, from Genesis to Revelation is a complete thought and not a series of short ideas. In other words, I felt a sense of completion after finishing the 90 days readings. It was well worth using some of my television and internet time for God’s Word time.

God has been my one and only true friend for 53 years! Looking back at my life He has been not only my personal savior, but He has also been my confidant who is always there for me, someone who always has a lending ear and a shoulder for me to lean on, my teacher, protector from harm and my all in all.

I will be reading the Bible with Amy again and would encourage everyone to either read along with us or listen on CD or tape to God’s Word and hear from God what HE is lovingly whispering to you at this time in your life.

Doesn’t it feel great knowing that these and the other mentors will be cheering you on throughout the next 90 days?

And, by the way, if you are a B90 grad and would like to jump in and serve as a mentor, it’s not too late.
