As each of you are meeting your individual mentors via email this week, I have two more to introduce to the group.<\/p>\n
Watching each mentor join our team has been an incredible experience for me. As the number of Bible in 90 Days participants hit 200, I began to get a little nervous. But the Lord sent amazing Bible in 90 Days grads to help. I knew He would equip me, but I’ll admit I was starting to wonder how. Now that our group is well over 500 I am not surprised He has continued to send dedicated, caring mentors our way to join the team.<\/p>\n

I’m Lisa (aka Mae on my blog http:\/\/3mae.blogspot.com\/<\/a> ). I\u00a0have been married to my wonderful husband for 12 years. We are the blessed parents of three rambunctious boys,\u00a0who are almost 8, almost 6, and 3. (The almost’s\u00a0have birthdays in August. Yikes! So soon!) I am very thankful I\u00a0get to stay home and homeschool my kiddos.<\/p>\n I\u00a0was raised in a Christian home, was saved as a child,\u00a0but only\u00a0developed a deep, close relationship with Jesus when I was in my late 20s. Even though I knew much of the Bible from years of Sunday School, I never read it cover to cover myself until this year. The weekly Bible study group I am part of decided to start the Bible in 90 Days program on January 1. There were many days I thought I would never be able to do it, but I am so glad to say that I finished it in 91 days. It is one of the best things I have ever done. I can honestly say that I am closer to Jesus than I ever was, and for the first time in my life, I was (and still am) hungry for more of Him and the Word. Reading it so fast gave me a clearer picture of the Bible than I had ever had before, and I have been encouraging friends and family to do this ever since.<\/p>\n Twitter ID: @MaeB3<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n I’m Jessica.\u00a0 A homeschooling mom of 3 with the caboose on the way at the end of September.\u00a0 My children are 11, 9 and 2.\u00a0 I read the Bible from cover to cover this past January with Amy and loved it!\u00a0 I had never read the entire Bible.\u00a0 I don’t think I had read very many whole books in the Bible.\u00a0 I know I’ve read Proverbs several times and Revelation, but up until this year, that was it.\u00a0 I have enjoyed going to church more since reading the Bible.\u00a0 There are many verses that really stick out to me now and I really love that.\u00a0 It was a huge commitment to stick with the plan, but I am so glad I did!\u00a0 I plan on reading the Bible through again very soon.\u00a0 I am praying it is a life changing experience for all of us!<\/p>\n Jessica blogs at Musings of a Homeschooling Mom<\/a>.<\/p>\nLisa<\/h2>\n
