Today’s Reading: Job 42:1- Psalms 24:10<\/p>\n

Scripture: Psalm 25:5 <\/strong>(Oops. I guess I read a little past today’s reading)<\/p>\n

guide me in your truth and teach me,<\/p>\n

for you are my God and Savior,<\/p>\n

and my hope is in you all day long.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Observation: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Teach me. You are the ultimate authority. And in you I should find ultimate joy.<\/p>\n

Application: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Often I feel pulled in so many directions.<\/p>\n

But God has the answer. He is the ultimate authority.<\/p>\n

If I just weigh my to-dos against what I think He wants for me and for me to do, I will get a true sense of priority.<\/p>\n

I am continually working to reset my priorities. This verse really spoke to me, reminding me to seek HIS guidance. And live according to His word… not the world’s.<\/p>\n

Prayer: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Dear Lord, I love you. And I recognize that you are indeed the ultimate authority on everything.<\/p>\n

When I am feeling frazzled or insecure, please remind me that all that really matters is your love for me.<\/p>\n

Remind me of this verse. And help me to truly apply it. My hope really is in you… and I need you to teach me and guide me in your truth so that I don’t forget that.<\/p>\n
