As I paid for it, I had to fight back tears. These were tears of pride, joy and appreciation.<\/p>\n<p>I couldn\u2019t help but gush to the sales lady, \u201cI just finished reading the entire Bible,\u201d I said.<br \/>\n\u201cI was supposed to do it in 90 days, but it took me 97 and I am still so excited.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I can\u2019t remember what she said. But I\u2019ll never forget the exhilaration I felt buying that charm and then going back to pick up my bracelet once the charm was soldered onto it.<\/p>\n<p>Every single time I wear that bracelet I cannot help but beam. I am thrilled that I read the entire Bible that Spring, and I am amazed as to how God is using that experience to help others also read the entire Bible.<\/p>\n<p>Of course I am reminded of the fruits of my reading experience at every sermon I hear, every study I take and often in conversations about scripture or doctrine. Now I can put things into much better context.<\/p>\n<p>Wearing that charm and explaining it to others, and knowing it will be passed down through my family along with its story, almost always brings me just to the point where I smile away tears.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you, Lord, for the gift of your Word and the ability to read it in its entirety. And thank you for this little trinket of a reminder. You are awesome and it amazes me how human you are in giving us little reminders and smiles. Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>This is definitely a Favorite Memory for me. (Even though it also contains a confession. Did ya catch that?)<br \/>\nWhat Favorite Memory are you celebrating today, or do you plan to celebrate soon?
